The Vestil TG-1600-S-H-168-216 PVC Vinyl Strip Door is designed to serve as a flexible barrier at doorways where temperature control, dust reduction, and noise minimization are priorities. This standard-overlap header strip door uses clear vinyl strips to preserve visibility while creating a physical separation between spaces. The material is described as fire resistant and self-extinguishing, which contributes to safety considerations in environments where ignition sources may be present. The design aims to balance ease of access with a continuous barrier, aided by a smooth surface that facilitates quick entry and exit for personnel and equipment.
The construction emphasizes simple maintenance and cost efficiency, with a mounting configuration that aligns with a header-style installation and a standard overlap arrangement. The product is marketed for applications such as loading docks and external doorways, where UV exposure and temperature variations are common. The vinyl strips are characterized as pliable at low temperatures, expanding the range of suitable environments. While the literature notes suitability for refrigerated settings down to -10 degrees Fahrenheit and soft PVC variants for temperatures as low as -40 degrees Fahrenheit, this description should be taken in the context of the provided source material.
When selecting this door, consider the need for installation hardware, which is not included with the unit, and verify that the header mount and standard overlap fit the doorway dimensions. The listed size corresponds to 168 inches by 216 inches, a common footprint for wide entryways, but confirm compatibility with existing frame tolerances and mounting clearances. Packaging is indicated as per-unit, though additional quantity details are not provided in the source description.
