Wraptite 3/4" x .050” polyester strapping is a high-strength alternative to traditional steel bands, designed for medium to heavy-duty applications. Its smooth, green finish helps reduce snagging and facilitates consistent tension retention over time, supporting loads as they settle or shrink. The material is compatible with a variety of sealing methods, including serrated strapping seals, heat welding, and friction welds, enabling flexible installation options for different packaging lines.
The construction combines lower cost and lighter weight with controlled elongation, offering a practical balance between easy handling and load stability. With its dynamic memory, this strapping can conform to irregular or shifting loads while maintaining adequate tension, reducing the risk of loosening before final securing. The product is offered on pallets as 28 coils per pallet, with each coil measuring 2400 feet in length and a width of 3/4 inch and thickness of 0.050 inch, which supports efficient long-run use in packaging operations.
Typical use scenarios include palletized goods, where a durable, weather-resistant strap is needed to secure shipments during transport and storage. Users should verify compatibility with their existing sealing equipment and ensure proper training on tensioning procedures to avoid over-tightening or under-tightening. This strapping is intended for applications where polyester is preferred over steel due to weight, handling, and cost considerations, and it is supplied in a single color (green) to aid inventory and identification on the line.
