1-1/4" X .050 1500' 16x6 Green Smooth Polyester Strapping 28/Skid

Wraptite 1-1/4 inch by 0.050 inch thick green smooth polyester strapping, supplied in a 1500 ft length per roll with a 28 rolls per pallet. This polyester strapping is designed as a practical alternative to steel for medium- and heavy-duty banding tasks. It offers better tension retention over time and can be sealed using serrated strapping seals, heat welds, or friction welds. The smooth finish and dynamic memory help the strap conform to loads that settle or shrink, reducing the need for retensioning after application.

Construction-wise, the green polyester exhibits less elongation than typical poly straps while providing more flexibility than steel, delivering a balanced performance for securing pallets and load units. The product is marketed with several working advantages: it is significantly lighter and easier to handle than steel—up to 80% lighter—and it reportedly costs substantially less than steel, while retaining tension under load. These attributes can translate to faster handling on the dock and lower overall labor costs during strapping operations. The 1-1/4" width and 0.050" thickness are standard for mid- to heavy-duty banding, and the 1500' length provides longer service between changes, which can reduce downtime in high-volume workflows.

Used in material handling where steel is typically specified but a non-metal alternative is acceptable, this strap is compatible with serrated seals and common sealing methods. Each roll is packaged as a single unit, with 28 rolls per pallet, supporting bulk installations for distribution centers or manufacturing facilities. For best results, ensure compatible sealing equipment and follow best-practice tensioning to avoid over-tightening or under-tightening, which can impact load security and strap life.
