The DPI TB-6 Plastic Traffic Barrier is a lightweight, versatile barrier designed to delineate spaces and guide traffic in a wide range of settings. Constructed from durable plastic, this barrier is 33 3/4 inches tall and 18 1/2 inches wide, with an overall length of 69 3/4 inches when multiple units are linked. It ships empty, allowing you to fill it with sand or water to add stability as needed, and the contents can be drained before moving for easier handling. The interlocking joints enable quick, tool-free assembly and the ability to connect multiple units into longer lines or enclosures as your site requires. Its bright yellow color enhances visibility to help communicate boundaries and direct flow in busy environments.
These barriers are suitable for a variety of applications, including construction sites, airports, festivals, concerts, industrial plant dividers, safety delineation, sporting events, school zones, and other government or civic settings. Because they are lightweight when empty, they are easy to reposition as site requirements evolve, and drainage of the fill material facilitates efficient transport and storage. The TB-6Y variant is part of DPI’s lineup of portable, fillable barriers that can be deployed quickly without tools, making them a practical solution for temporary traffic control and crowd management needs.
When selecting barriers, consider your required coverage length, visibility, and whether you’ll need to move and reposition them frequently. The dumpable fill design supports stable setups on uneven ground, and the modular interlock system helps create continuous barriers without gaps. For storage and transport, note the unit’s dimensions and that it ships as a single unit, with fillable capacity adjusted on-site to maintain balance and stability.
