Challenge

Bravo Ordnance partnered with The Safety Source to create a dedicated lab and workspace within their existing facility. The project combined a structural mezzanine with a fully enclosed modular office system, allowing them to build a controlled environment without expanding their building footprint.

Bravo Ordnance needed more than just space—they needed a functional lab environment. Key challenges included:

  • -Limited floor space for expansion
  • -Need for separation between lab and production areas
  • Requirement for a controlled, enclosed workspace
  • -Electrical and lighting needs to support lab operations
  • -Avoiding major construction or facility downtime
  •

The solution needed to balance structural performance, safety, and efficient use of space.

The Result

The combined mezzanine and modular office system delivered a fully functional lab environment inside an existing facility.

Key Outcomes:

  • -Created a dedicated lab and office space without new construction
  • -Maximized vertical space while preserving floor-level operations
  • -Provided a controlled, enclosed environment for testing and lab work
  • -Improved organization by separating lab, office, and production areas
  • -Delivered as a single turnkey project, reducing coordination and downtime
  •

Why This Project Stands Out

-Most mezzanine projects focus strictly on storage. This project demonstrates a more advanced application:

  • -Mezzanine used as a structural platform for operational space
  • -Modular office integrated to create a true lab environment
  • -Full system approach: structure + walls + electrical + layout

This is the type of solution that resonates well with manufacturing customers who need functional space, not just square footage.
