The Black Stallion FR Cotton Cape Sleeves are flame-resistant sleeves designed to pair with flame-resistant cotton apparel for enhanced arm protection. Constructed from 9 oz. FR-treated cotton, these sleeves provide a balance of durability and comfort for workers performing tasks in environments where exposure to heat or sparks is possible. The design includes a snap front and wrist closures to secure the sleeves in place and help prevent snagging or misalignment during movement, along with a scribe pocket for quick access to small tools or writing implements.
These sleeves are offered in a range of sizes from S to 5XL, accommodating a broad spectrum of users and layering under or over other PPE as required by job duties. The FR treatment and cotton construction are the basis for protection in routine tasks where flare-ups or brief contact with hot surfaces could occur, though verified standards applicability should be confirmed for the specific use case. The package quantity and material composition indicate straightforward inventory handling and sizing considerations typical of PPE sleeves meant to be worn beneath or in conjunction with jackets, aprons, or coveralls.
When selecting sizing and maintenance needs, consider how the cuffs and snap closures align with other protective garments and how often sleeves may need replacement due to wear in high-friction work areas. These features help ensure the sleeves stay in place during typical job movements and reduce the likelihood of fabric exposure at the wrists. For ordering, this product is cataloged under the Black Stallion brand with the manufacturer part number F9-21CS, and is positioned in the PPE category with a focus on flame resistance and practical wearability.
