The Black Stallion BXTN9C BSX Flame-Resistant Cotton Welding Jacket is designed to provide dependable protection during welding tasks where heat and sparks are a concern. Crafted from 9 oz. flame-resistant cotton, this jacket offers a balance of durability and comfort for extended wear in demanding environments. It features a standup welder's collar to help shield the neck area and six front snap buttons, with leather reinforcement on all snaps to resist wear in high-use positions. A dedicated scribe pocket and an inside pocket add practical storage for small tools or notes, while the extended length coverage helps protect the torso and upper thighs from radiant heat and splatter.
This jacket is available in sizes S through 5XL, accommodating a range of body types and layering needs. The product is packaged per jacket with a case quantity of 24, making it suitable for on-site teams and facilities that require bulk sizing options. For reference, a spec sheet is available via download, providing additional detail on material composition and care.
When selecting flame-resistant workwear for welding applications, consider fit, flex, and the ability to layer under a jacket or wear over insulating garments as needed. The cotton construction and extended length offer a straightforward option for workers who need reliable coverage without specialized PPE beyond flame-resistant fabric. This jacket’s features—such as the standup collar, snap closures, and reinforced snaps—address common wear points and functional needs in welding environments.
