The Black Stallion AH5040-BK Split Cowhide Wrap-Around Helmet Bib is a welding helmet accessory designed to extend protection beyond the faceplate. Crafted from split cowhide leather, this bib provides added coverage for the neck, ears, and upper chest while allowing the welder to maintain unrestricted visibility when the helmet is raised. The extended front panel helps shield against sparks, radiant heat, and UV exposure, and is positioned to reduce glare during welding operations without creating bulk that could obstruct the user’s field of view.
Constructed for durable, demanding environments, the bib uses push-on clips for easy attachment to most welding helmets. Its universal design is intended to fit a wide range of helmet styles, helping facilities standardize protective accessories without sacrificing compatibility. The practical wrap-around design and secure attachment points are intended to stay in place during active work, supporting consistent coverage as workers move around the weld area.
Typical usage includes settings where workers are exposed to sparks and radiant heat from welding processes. When selecting, consider the need for additional chest and neck protection and ensure the bib’s clip system is compatible with your helmet model. The product data notes a case quantity of 60 and a package size of Each, with cowhide as the material, which informs purchasing and stocking decisions for maintenance or bulk orders.
