The Rad-Apocalypse safety glasses from Radians are a lightweight, sporty option designed to provide reliable eye protection in a compact, full-frame style. Crafted with a plastic frame, these glasses feature a Black/Smoke lens color and a coated protective lens engineered to resist everyday hazards while delivering clear visibility. The design includes soft rubber temples with flared ends for a more secure, comfortable fit, and a neck cord is included to help prevent misplacement during movement or work in extended tasks. These safety glasses meet ANSI Z87.1+ standards, indicating they have been evaluated for proper impact resistance and optical quality in line with industry expectations for protective eyewear. The product is offered in a standard package of a pair, with box and case quantities available for bulk distribution.
Practical use for this eyewear includes general industrial tasks where eye protection from impact and UV exposure is needed, such as maintenance, painting, light fabrication, and assembly work. The coating on the lens adds an additional level of surface durability and helps reduce glare, which can contribute to better comfort and visibility over the course of a shift. When selecting this model, note that it is a full-frame design with a plastic frame and a Black/Smoke lens, and it ships in package quantities appropriate for bulk orders (12 per box, 300 per case). The included neck cord helps keep eyewear accessible during dynamic tasks, minimizing downtime spent retrieving protective gear.
