The MCR Safety O503 Zodiac provides a lightweight, disposable rain suit designed for light splash protection and convenient portability. Constructed from .10 mm single-ply PVC, this two-piece ensemble includes a snap-front jacket with a detachable hood and elastic-waist pants, all packaged in a portable tote pouch for easy storage and transport. The compact, economical design makes it suitable for temporary use in unpredictable weather or on-the-go protection where full, reusable rain gear isn’t necessary.
Key features include a snap front closure on the jacket, a detachable hood for optional coverage, and take-up snaps at the wrist and ankle to secure the fit. The suit comprises three components (jacket, pants, and hood) and is sized and colored for straightforward identification and quick don-and-off in variable conditions. Its light construction supports short-duration exposure to rain or light splashes, making it a practical choice for outdoor events, temporary jobsite contingencies, or emergency rain protection stored in a vehicle or tool bag.
Considerations for use include the need to replace disposable gear after use and to manage proper fit with the elastic waist and snap-based closures. The suit’s yellow color aids visibility in work or crowd environments. While designed for light splash protection, it is not intended for heavy-duty chemical exposure or prolonged, rigorous use. Packaging reflects that each suit is sold individually, with case quantities available for bulk purchases, enhancing stock management for facilities or departments that require occasional rain protection for travelers, maintenance crews, or field personnel.
