The MCR Safety FR267C Classic Plus Limited Flammability Raincoat is a 60-inch black raincoat designed to provide durable, weather-resistant protection in environments where limited flammability is a consideration. Constructed with a black PVC exterior (approximately 0.35 mm) over a polyester backing, this coat blends waterproof performance with added structure and durability. A detachable hood, a corduroy-lined collar, and a snap-front closure with take-up snaps at the wrists offer versatile, adjustable coverage suitable for changing weather conditions. The design includes a cape-vented back to improve airflow, and the coat can be split at the back and snapped around each leg to function as chaps, expanding its use in muddy or splash-prone work areas.
Functionally, the FR267C carries a limited flammability rating, and it is explicitly not intended for protection against Arc Flash or Flash Fire. This distinction is important for selecting appropriate protective equipment in electrical or high-heat settings. Practical features such as reach-through pockets and a badge tab holder add workflow convenience, while a front fly and storm flap help minimize exposure to the elements. The garment features a total coat construction rated for the specified materials and layers, with take-up snaps at the wrists and pant cuffs (10.5 in) to secure the fit and prevent exposure to wind-driven rain.
For ordering and compatibility, the item is packaged as a single coat per unit, with a case quantity of 10. The detachable hood, long 60-inch length, and leg-snapping capability provide versatility across job sites, from outdoor weather protection to tasks requiring freedom of movement without sacrificing coverage. When selecting this garment, consider the limited flammability specification and confirm that the intended use aligns with the product’s safety designation and limitations.
