The Portwest CV02YER Hi-Vis Cooling Vest is a lightweight body-cooling vest designed to help manage heat stress during outdoor work. Constructed to be worn as a core layer, it uses a fabric system that can be soaked in water to activate cooling and then re-cooled in minutes for several hours of reduced core temperature while maintaining mobility and a waist-friendly fit for ease of movement whether sitting or standing.
Featuring a breathable cooling mesh fabric, the vest also includes practical storage options with a pen pocket and three additional pockets, plus reflective tape to enhance visibility in low-light conditions. The cooling technology is paired with wicking and drying properties to help manage sweat and comfort during extended wear in hot environments. The garment is sized and styled as a vest and is offered in hi-visibility lime, aligning with common outdoor safety practices for workers in construction, agriculture, mining, oil and gas, and related fields.
Use this cooling vest in environments where temperatures can reach high levels and heat stress risk is a concern. It should be soaked to activate cooling and can then be reactivated as needed to extend cooling duration. When selecting sizing, consider fit over the torso for unobstructed movement, and note that the garment is designed to be worn as a protective layer under or over other PPE as appropriate. The package is listed as a single vest per unit, with a case quantity of 48 for inventory planning.
