The PIP 319-GT2-LY gaiters are a high-visibility apparel accessory designed to enhance leg coverage in environments where visibility is critical. Crafted for use in construction, municipalities, shipyards, and other settings that require conspicuous gear, these gaiters help reduce exposure to debris and moisture while keeping workers more noticeable in low-visibility conditions.
Constructed with lightweight polyester mesh fabric, the gaiters balance breathability with durability. A two-tone 2" reflective tape improves conspicuity, which is important for operators and pedestrians sharing the work area. They feature an elastic top and bottom to secure the gaiters in place, and a side opening with hook-and-loop closure provides adjustable fit and easy removal if needed. The overall design is intended to offer a practical, low-profile solution that can be worn over mid-calf or below workforce footwear, depending on the user’s height and boot or pant combination.
This product is specified as a pair and is packaged accordingly, with a simple, reliable closure system that supports quick donning and adjustment during a shift. When selecting sizing and fit, consider the elastic ranges and how the gaiters will interact with existing PPE and footwear. Proper use helps maintain visibility while working near moving equipment or traffic, and the lightweight mesh helps minimize heat buildup in warm environments. The gaiters’ visibility features are aligned with general industry expectations for passive conspicuity in high-risk outdoor or industrial settings.
