Cordova SJ400 Sweatshirt, Cor-BRITE, Type R, Class 3, Hood

The Cordova SJ400 Sweatshirt is a high-visibility, hooded layer designed for workers who need both warmth and conspicuous safety in low-light or traffic-prone environments. This orange sweatshirt employs 300-gram polyester fleece for warmth and features a lined hood with a birdseye polyester interior, offering added comfort and coverage during outdoor or fieldwork tasks. It includes a front zipper for easy on/off and ventilation, along with 2-inch reflective tape to enhance visibility in demanding work conditions. Knit cuffs and pouch pockets help seal in warmth while keeping hands and small tools accessible yet secure.

Constructed to meet ANSI/ISEA 107-2015 Type R and Class 3 requirements, this garment is tailored for high-visibility applications where workers are exposed to vehicle or machine traffic. The combination of a bright orange base and reflective accents provides conspicuity from a distance, supporting safer operation around moving hazards. The SJ400 is built to be worn as an outer layer in cool weather or as part of a layered system in more severe conditions, offering practical versatility for outdoor maintenance, roadwork, or industrial settings where visibility is critical.

Sizing and packaging details note a case quantity of 10 per case, with each unit sized individually. The garment’s polyester construction and hooded design aim to balance warmth with function in dynamic work environments, while the zipper closure and pockets provide everyday practicality. Maintaining consistent visibility and warmth can help workers stay comfortable and seen during extended shifts or variable weather. It’s important to verify compatibility with other PPE layers and to ensure proper fit for maximized visibility and mobility.
