The Radians RCS211 Cooling Hardhat Microfiber Sweat Band is a replacement sweatband designed to fit existing hard hat suspensions, delivering evaporative cooling for hot work environments. When soaked for 2–3 minutes, the Advanced Arctic material activates to help cool the wearer's head for extended periods, with effectiveness up to about 5 hours depending on conditions. The sweatband can be reactivated in extreme heat or humidity by re-soaking and briefly waving in the air, making it a reusable option for ongoing comfort during demanding outdoor tasks.
Construction and features emphasize ease of use and sanitation: the band is made from Advanced Arctic material, is hand-washable with a mild detergent (no bleach), and is marketed as anti-microbial treated to help reduce mold and odors on the job site. It’s designed to be securely snapped over the existing hard hat suspension headband, enabling quick installation and removal as needed. The cooling effect is driven by evaporation, so performance will vary with environmental humidity and air flow. It is compatible with hard hats and suspensions sold separately from the same brand, and the product is offered in a blue color with a band construction.
For procurement and maintenance considerations, this item is packaged as 1 per package, with box and case quantities available (10 per box, 50 per case). Users should verify fit with their specific hard hat model and suspension configuration prior to purchase, and follow the care instructions to maintain anti-microbial properties and material integrity over repeated use.
