The Pyramex CNB12PKR Beaded Cooling Bandana in Red Paisley is a reusable, UPF 50 cooling accessory designed to help workers manage heat stress in hot environments. When activated, polymer crystal beads absorb cool water and expand into a cooling gel that can be worn around the neck or head for cooling relief. The design features an American flag motif, making it a practical option for crews seeking a patriotic look alongside sun protection and cooling performance. The bandana is machine washable and can be reactivated by soaking in cool water when the cooling effect fades.
Construction and features include a one-size-fits-most fit and easy tie method, enabling quick adjustment for comfort on active jobsites such as construction, manufacturing, landscaping, warehousing, utilities, road crews, and outdoor maintenance. Activation is simple: soak, knead to distribute the gel, and wear; reactivation is achieved by re-soaking. While the product is not ANSI, CSA, or CE rated, its UPF 50 designation indicates added protection from sun exposure during prolonged outdoor work. The CNB12PKR is sold individually with case quantities available for larger orders, and comes with a downloadable product sheet for reference.
For buyers, this bandana offers a practical heat-relief option that can be reused across shifts, with straightforward care and reactivation steps. Compatible uses include hot outdoor sites and indoor areas where shade or cooling aids are beneficial. Packaging is listed as Each, with a case quantity of 480, and the included item is 1 per package. Maintain awareness of the product’s simple activation cycle and ensure it remains clean and properly stored between uses.
