The Pyramex CNB12PKB Beaded Cooling Bandana in Blue Paisley is a reusable cooling accessory designed to help workers manage heat stress in hot environments. Worn around the neck or head, it activates with cool water to create a gel-like cooling effect that provides temporary relief from heat exposure during outdoor tasks or indoor duties under elevated temperatures.
Construction features include polymer crystal beads that absorb water and expand into a cooling gel when soaked, then re-activate with subsequent soaks. The bandana is UPF 50 rated to add sun protection under sun-drenched work conditions and is designed to be tied for a secure fit. It is machine washable and intended for repeated use, making it a practical option for crews that spend long hours outdoors or in environments where heat load is a concern.
Common applications include construction, manufacturing, landscaping, warehousing, utilities, maintenance, road crews, and other outdoor or hot-work settings. The CNB12PKB is one size fits most, with a case quantity of 480 and packaging indicated as an individual headband item. To activate, soak the bandana in cool water, knead to distribute the cooling gel, and tie it for wear; reactivation is achieved by soaking again as needed.
