MCR Safety DC5B Flame Resistant Extreme Climate Insulated Coveralls are designed for workers who face demanding environments, from oil and gas sites to areas with electrical hazards. These FR coveralls blend a comfortable fabric with robust protection to help keep you warm and safe during extended shifts in variable weather. The outer shell uses a Max Comfort 9 oz, 88% cotton / 12% nylon twill material, while a separate 11.5 oz modacrylic insulation provides warmth, complemented by a wind and vapor barrier to help reduce heat loss and protect against drafts. Critical components, including the front and leg zippers, are equipped with FR features and are stitched with aramid thread to maintain integrity in fire-risk conditions. Reflective tape in yellow-silver-yellow across the sleeves, legs, and front helps improve visibility, and the design includes practical pockets, a pen pocket on the left sleeve, and a storm-flap closure system for added coverage.

The DC5B meets or references several key safety standards relevant to flame resistance, arc exposure, and electrical safety, including NFPA 2112 for flame resistance, NFPA 70E for electrical safety, and ASTM F1506 for electrical arc protection. It also carries CAN/CSA and OSHA-related markings, indicating broad standard alignment for compatible work environments. The coverall features a two-way Nomex FR zipper with a concealed, two-way design for convenience and a full-elastic waist insert to support a secure fit during movement. With six total pockets (including chest, hip, back, and tool/sleeve options) and reinforced seam construction, these coveralls are intended for all-day wear in demanding jobs while maintaining mobility and coverage. This product is packaged as individual units, with cases of four for stock and shipping efficiency.
