The PIP 31-CDS18 is a lightweight arm protection option designed for light-duty tasks where minimal abrasion exposure is expected. Crafted from 100% natural cotton knit, these sleeves offer breathability and a comfortable feel to help keep workers cool during extended wear, while still providing a basic barrier against minor scrapes and abrasions.
With a seamless knit construction, the sleeves protect the forearm without restricting dexterity or comfort. The 2-ply design adds an extra layer of protection compared to single-ply options, helping to extend wear in light-duty environments. They are launderable, supporting extended life and cost efficiency by allowing repeated use after cleaning.
Typical applications include light handling, general maintenance, and tasks where skin contact with rough or sharp edges is limited. The sleeves are white in color and made with a cotton lining, offering a simple, washable solution that pairs with other PPE for layered protection. Each sleeve is packaged as an individual unit, with cases available for higher-volume purchase to suit shop or facility needs.
Important considerations include understanding that these sleeves offer light arm protection and are not a substitute for more protective PPE in higher-risk environments. Regular inspection for wear and thinning fabric is advised, and adherence to your facility’s laundering guidelines will help maximize service life.
