The Global Glove 1412 Painters Spray Sock is a lightweight face protection solution designed to shield the wearer from overspray, dirt, and dust while working in environments such as painting, carpentry, and remodeling. The fabric is a breathable, stretch knitted 100% cotton in a natural color, chosen to provide comfort during extended wear while allowing airflow. Its design features a snug fit around the head and neck and a facial opening that accommodates goggles and various respirator configurations, enabling goggles and half or full-face masks to be worn simultaneously for enhanced protection and visibility.
Constructed from cotton, the sock prioritizes a soft, pliable feel against the skin, which helps minimize irritation during long jobs. The combination of material and fit supports daily use in automotive, demolition, fiberglass, HVAC, insulation, painting, and plumbing tasks where overspray and particulates are a concern. The product is offered in one size to fit a range of head shapes, and it ships in a box of 144 per package, with 576 units per case, providing efficient inventory management for job sites and fleet programs. A spec sheet is available for download, offering additional technical details for procurement and safety screenings.
When selecting this spray sock, consider its purpose as a protective liner for facial exposure rather than a standalone respirator solution. The facial opening is specifically designed to allow compatibility with goggles and respirators, but it does not replace the need for appropriate respiratory PPE in environments with airborne hazards. Verify sizing, compatible PPE pieces, and packaging requirements to ensure fit and coverage align with job-specific safety standards.
