The Ironwear 9280 Metatarsal Waterproof Boot is a high-cut rubber boot designed to protect the foot and metatarsal area in demanding industrial environments. With a full-coverage 17-inch height, the boot provides substantial metatarsal protection while keeping your foot fully dry in wet work conditions. The one-piece, triple-dipped rubber shell offers durability and watertight protection, helping to guard against splash and immersion hazards encountered in weather-exposed or wet flooring applications.
Key construction details include a steel toe and an integrated steel midsole, meeting or exceeding ASTM F2413-11 specifications for impact, compression, and electrical shock resistance (M I/75 C/75, EH). The treaded sole is designed to provide slip resistance and comfort for prolonged wear, supporting stability on slippery surfaces common in industrial settings. The boot is designed to fit over the sock or foot, facilitating easy donning and accommodate thicker socks or work liners as needed.
Practical use scenarios include job tasks that involve standing/walking for extended periods in wet, oily, or damp environments, as well as situations where metatarsal protection is warranted. The product is supplied in pairs, with a case quantity of six pairs, making it suitable for team orders or stocking needs. While features emphasize waterproofing and protection, buyers should verify fit and sizing to ensure proper clearance with any orthotics or additional PPE, and refer to the included spec sheet for detailed dimensional information.
