The PIP UB-18-1000 18" SBP Bouffant is a lightweight disposable head covering designed for single-use applications where cleanliness and hair containment are required. It is constructed from spunbond polypropylene, yielding a breathable fabric that helps reduce heat buildup during extended wear while maintaining a clean, white appearance suitable for sterile or controlled environments.
Key construction features include an elastic band that provides a flexible fit and keeps the cap securely in place without the need for ties. The material is latex-free, which helps reduce the risk of as-soon allergies or irritations for wearers who may be sensitive to latex. The bouffant style offers full coverage of the hair with a simple one-size-fits-most design, and the case-pack packaging makes it convenient for bulk ordering in workplaces with high usage rates.
These caps are suitable for a variety of applications where hair and particulate contamination must be controlled, such as labs, cleanrooms, food processing, and general PPE environments. They are intended for disposable use and should be worn in accordance with your facility’s hygiene protocols and local regulations. When selecting a size and fit, consider the 18-inch bouffant design and the elastic band as the primary determinants of secure wear, and ensure proper disposal after use to maintain hygiene standards.
