The Lakeland SSG428B SafeGard SMMS Global Pattern Coveralls are a full-body protective garment designed for environments requiring reliable particle filtration and chemical handling hygiene. Built on SafeGard SMMS material, these coveralls provide a breathable fabric experience while supporting standout protection features essential for multi-national workplaces that demand standardized performance across sites.
Key construction details include sewn seams for durability, a protective storm flap over the zipper to minimize exposure, and elastic components at the wrists and back to maintain coverage during movement. The design also incorporates an anti-Static feature aligned with EN1149-1 and a respirator-fit hood, adding versatility for users who rely on compatible respirators in shared workspaces. The garment is CE Certified Type 5/6, signaling compliance with established European standards for particle course and fine dust protection, and it is finished in blue with a full-length zipper for straightforward donning and doffing.
Typical use cases involve environments where particle filtration is important and where a global standard is beneficial—multinational operations, sites with mixed teams, or facilities requiring consistent PPE across locations. Practical considerations include knowing the product color and material when selecting from inventory, as well as understanding packaging: each case contains 25 units, with a case-level package size. Users should verify compatibility with existing hood systems and ensure proper sizing to maintain protective coverage during routine tasks.
