The Lakeland 7101B Pyrolon Plus 2 Long Sleeve Lab Coat is a disposable protective garment designed for environments with environmental and health-related contaminants. It provides a lightweight, breathable barrier when worn over thermally protective clothing, helping to reduce potential exposure while maintaining comfort during extended wear.
Constructed from 65 g/m² spunlaced wood pulp with a polyethylene (FR-treated) layer, the coat offers an integrated shield without compromising mobility. It features a long-sleeve design with a snap closure and two pockets, and it uses serged seams for durable construction appropriate for single-use lab and cleanroom scenarios. The light blue color and ergonomic cut are typical of disposable lab coats intended for quick donning and straightforward disposal after use.
In practical terms, this lab coat is suitable for work areas where particulates or minor chemical exposure are a concern and where disposable PPE is preferred to minimize cross-contamination. It is sold in case quantities, with 30 units per case, making it suitable for classrooms, facilities, or workplaces that require consistent, economical protection. When selecting sizes and packaging, consider the case-based packaging to simplify stocking and distribution within a facility. This product’s compatibility rests on its disposable nature and the protective layer against contaminants while remaining breathable for enhanced wearer comfort during shifts.
