The Cordova 3738G2T RipCord sleeve is a high-tenacity nylon/cotton plaited arm covering designed to protect skin from incidental contact with sharp materials while allowing comfortable wear over extended periods. With an 18-inch length and a 2-inch gusset at the bicep, this sleeve is shaped for a more secure, flexible fit and features a thumb slot to help keep the sleeve in place during work tasks. The fabric blend balances durability with a smooth, soft feel that supports ongoing wear in environments where sleeves may encounter light cutting hazards.
Documentation notes ANSI Cut Level A2 resistance, reflecting its suitability for incidental contact rather than heavy-duty cut protection. The sleeve is offered in a one-size-fits-all design and ships in cases of 100, making it convenient for stocking and distribution in facilities that require consistent PPE replenishment. The nylon/cotton construction is described as using a multi-filament nylon fiber similar to materials used to reinforce certain industrial components, contributing to a practical combination of strength and comfort. A spec sheet is available for downstream reference, detailing the material composition and rated cut level.
When selecting this sleeve, consider tasks that involve light to incidental cutting hazards, such as contact with sharp edges or tooling shadows, where full forearm coverage is desired without imposing excessive heat buildup or bulk. Assembly lines, maintenance work, and general fabrication environments may benefit from its length and thumb slot to maintain coverage during arm movement. Review sizing and packaging to ensure adequate stock levels in your PPE program, noting that each sleeve is packaged individually within a case quantity of 100 units.
