The Cordova 3729G4 Sleeve, RipCord, is a high-tenacity nylon arm protection sleeve designed for incidental contact with sharp materials. With an 18-inch length and a 2-inch bicep gusset, it offers extended coverage and a more secure, comfortable fit when worn with other PPE. The nylon construction is paired with a nylon/cotton plaited fabric, delivering a smooth, soft feel that can help reduce irritation during extended wear while providing basic cut resistance appropriate for light-duty protection.
Documented construction highlights include a single-material nylon composition and an ANSI cut level designation of A2. This sleeve is sold in cases of 100 units, with each sleeve packaged individually. The combination of materials and design aims to balance cost-effective protection with wearer comfort, making it suitable for applications where incidental exposure to sharp edges is possible but high-level cut resistance is not required.
When selecting this sleeve, consider its length and gusset for full forearm coverage and fit, ensuring compatibility with your existing gloves and workflow. Its 18-inch length helps extend protection beyond the elbow in casual or light industrial tasks, and the 2-inch gusset supports a more adjustable fit at the upper arm. Packaging in cases of 100 makes it convenient for outfitting teams or stocking bulk PPE in maintenance, manufacturing, or facility environments.
