The PIP CHPO-89WH Uniform Technology Disctek 2.5 Grid ISO 4 (Class 10) Cleanroom Hood is designed for controlled environments where contamination control matters. This pull-over hood integrates Disctek 2.5 fabric, a blend of 96% polyester and 4% carbon, which helps maintain fabric integrity in cleanroom operations while providing a comfortable, reusable option for ISO 4 (Class 10) environments and other clean facilities.
Key design features include a pull-over, open-face style with a bound face opening, providing a secure fit while allowing convenient access. The hood employs multiple snap closures—two vertical snaps at each temple and four extra snaps in the back, plus a split skirt—to help ensure a snug, controlled seal around the user. The white hood is reusable and launderable, supporting practical maintenance cycles in facilities that require consistent cleanliness protocols.
Recommended uses span industries with strict particulate control needs, including electronics and aerospace manufacturing, medical and dental facilities, university labs, and various cleanroom-adjacent operations. When selecting this hood, consider the standard it meets for ISO cleanroom classifications (ISO 4, Class 10) to ensure appropriate compatibility with your facility’s cleanliness requirements. Each order contains a single hood, suitable for individual use or integrated into a broader PPE program across compliant environments.
