The PIP CHPIN2-74WH is a cleanroom hood designed for controlled environments where particle control is essential. It combines a white Altessa Grid fabric with a built-in face mask, providing a pull-over hood option that can help maintain containment in ISO 5 (Class 100) cleanrooms and other ISO-grade facilities. The hood features a split skirt and back elastic for a secure, comfortable fit, with snap closures that support straightforward wear and removal in busy work settings.
Key construction details include Altessa Grid fabric, composed of 99% polyester and 1% carbon, which supports cleanroom practicality while enabling laundering and reuse. The product is designed with pull-over eyes-only visibility and includes a tricot and mesh quilted face mask integrated into the hood, contributing to integrated protection without separate assembly. The garment’s back elastic and multiple snaps (three vertical and four horizontal) help tailor the fit to individual users while preserving the hood’s shape during use.
Common applications span controlled environments across electronics and aerospace manufacturing, medical and dental facilities, food packaging, university labs, and other facilities requiring particulate control. When selecting this hood, consider compatibility with your cleanroom protocol, laundering schedules, and the need for reusable options. Packaging indicates a single-unit per package, with a case quantity of one, making it suitable for individual deployment or occasional replacement within a controlled environment. The included spec sheet (available as a download) provides additional technical details to support compliant use.
