The MCR Safety 4892 Welding Glove is a premium leather work glove designed to protect the hand and forearm during welding and heavy fabrication tasks. It features a palm and forefinger crafted from premium top-grain goatskin, chosen for its combination of strength, tactile sensitivity, and a soft feel imparted by natural lanolin. The back of the hand uses split cowhide for durability, while the glove is built with a 10-inch cowhide leather cuff and an adjustable FR strap to help seal out sparks and debris and provide a secure fit during use. Each glove is sewn with DuPont™ Kevlar® thread for enhanced seam strength in challenging welding environments, and the padded palm along with a top-grain drag patch offers targeted protection for the wear areas most exposed to heat, abrasion, and impact. The overall length of 18 inches delivers extended coverage for the hand and wrist.
