The Tingley C53217 Industrial Work Coat is a 48-inch yellow PVC-coated coat designed to provide 100% waterproof protection for general-purpose work environments. This economy-level rain coat emphasizes easy movement and cost efficiency, making it suitable for tasks where staying dry is essential without specialized gear. The coat features welded seams to minimize water intrusion, a detachable hood for versatile weather protection, and a storm fly front with snap closures for a secure, adjustable fit. A corduroy-lined collar adds a touch of comfort when the hood is removed or not in use, and take-up snaps help tailor the silhouette for different body types or layers worn underneath.
Constructed with a PVC outer shell over polyester, the garment is designed to resist water penetration while remaining practical for daily wear in work settings. The 48-inch jacket length provides extended coverage for upper legs and torso, contributing to overall dryness in wet conditions. The coat is offered in a case quantity of 12 and is packaged as each unit, aligning with typical industrial procurement practices. Removable hood allows for flexibility when weather changes or when indoor work is required, and welded seams help ensure the enclosure remains watertight over multiple uses.
This product is intended for general-purpose use where protection from rain and wet work conditions is needed and where a durable, economical coat is appropriate. It is compatible with other PPE worn in wet environments and pairs with standard rain gear in facilities handling outdoor tasks, maintenance, janitorial, or warehouse operations. When selecting sizing and fit, consider layering and movement requirements; the detachable hood enables quick adaptation to shifting weather without compromising coverage.
