The OEL AFW40LF-FL-BSJB-GTX 40 CAL Jacket and Bib Overall Kit Lift Front Hood is a Category 4 arc-rated PPE ensemble designed for electrical safety environments. This kit pairs a 40 CAL jacket and matching bib-overall from the Black Series GTX line with integrated lift-front hood and other arc-flash gear to provide a complete protection system for workers exposed to high-energy electrical hazards. The fabric is described as PYRAD, developed in collaboration with GORE-TEX Labs, and is presented as inherently water resistant and windproof with a design focus on reducing heat stress and enabling freedom of movement, which can help maintain productivity in demanding field conditions. Each garment is evaluated to meet applicable arc-flash safety standards, and the kit is completed with head and face protection components, intrinsically safe lighting, and ventilation features intended to support usable wear over extended periods in hot or strenuous work environments.
