PIP 251-01-6225 SureFit Hard Hat Adapter

The PIP 251-01-6225 SureFit Hard Hat Adapter is designed to expand the functionality of compatible hard hats by providing a secure mounting point for safety visors. This adapter clips into the universal accessory slots on the hard hat, enabling attachment of visors that are compatible with the SureFit system. A curved plastic channel fits over both standard and short brim configurations, helping to position the visor consistently for clear visibility while maintaining the head protection profile.

Key design features include pivoting blades that allow the visor to be lifted up when not in use, offering convenient stow-and-ready access without removing the headset or headgear. The adapter is compatible with JSP SureFit Safety Visors and can be used in conjunction with SureFit Contour Ear Muffs, providing integrated eye, face, and ear protection when required. When used with safety glasses or goggles, the assembly can meet ANSI Z87+ requirements, ensuring the combination delivers appropriate eye protection in many standard work environments.

For practical use, verify that your hard hat supports universal accessory slots and that your visor model aligns with the SureFit system. The adapter’s clamping and pivot design facilitates quick visor deployment and retraction during tasks that require intermittent eye protection. Packaged as part of a visor-accessory setup, it helps maintain a streamlined, compact configuration suitable for daily wear in industrial settings where head, eye, and hearing protection are routinely needed.
