The RAD300-WRVM is a multi-function head protection solution designed to combine a hard hat with integrated hearing protection and an eye/face shading option. This dual-function setup helps streamline PPE compliance for workers who need head protection along with hearing and eye protection in environments with potential impacts, noise, and sun glare. The design emphasizes adjustability and lightweight construction to accommodate a range of head sizes while maintaining mobility on the job site.
Construction notes indicate the headgear includes foam-filled, padded earcups and a mesh visor, paired with either pinlock or ratchet suspension. The combination of a comfortable ear seal and visor enhances user protection without requiring separate, bulky gear. The adjustable headband slides facilitate a fit for most users, contributing to consistent protection across diverse crews. These features are intended for applications where head coverage, hearing attenuation, and visor shade are concurrently beneficial, such as logging, construction, and outdoor work environments where noise and debris are considerations.
Practical considerations include ensuring proper adjustment of the suspension and securing the visor correctly to maximize both protection and visibility. The product is designed for compatibility within its own headgear system, with attention to a fit that accommodates the included earcups and visor components. When selecting this headgear, verify correct sizing for the wearer and confirm that the combined components align with job-site safety requirements and any applicable site rules. Regular inspection of the suspensions, visor, and earcups is advisable to maintain protective performance over time.
