The Radians V40812-PM Visor Smoke Plastic Mesh is a face shield component designed to attach to compatible headgear, offering a smoke-tinted plastic mesh visor for material handling and general PPE tasks where eye and face protection is needed. This visor is intended to pair with Radians face shield systems and is offered in multiple sizes and materials, enabling users to select the configuration that best fits their work environment and headwear. The smoke visor provides translucent coverage aimed at reducing glare and eye exposure from bright light and debris, while preserving visibility for job tasks that require a clear line of sight.
Constructed as a lightweight shield with a plastic mesh design, the visor emphasizes a balance between protection and ventilation, making it suitable for applications where airflow is beneficial and full-face coverage is not required. The design typically allows compatibility with a range of hard hats and face shield assemblies, supporting quick installation and straightforward maintenance in busy work settings. Specific material composition, thickness, and mounting hardware are not provided in the available data, so users should verify exact specifications with the supplier or product documentation before purchasing.
When selecting a visor for Radians face shield systems, consider the intended task, exposure level, and environment to determine if the smoke mesh option meets visibility and protection requirements. Confirm compatibility with your hard hat or face shield assembly, and review packaging details to ensure the correct quantity for your safety program. For maintenance, inspect for wear or cracks and replace as needed to maintain proper fit and protective function.
