The PIP 6000 Ironcat premium top grain cowhide welding glove is designed for MIG and TIG welding tasks, offering durable hand protection with a natural/red color and a 4-inch cuff for wrist coverage. Crafted from premium top grain cowhide, the glove prioritizes abrasion resistance and durability in high-heat, glove-in-hand work while providing dexterity through an unlined interior. The wing thumb design supports precise grip and tactile control, while Kevlar stitching enhances seam strength to withstand repeated bending and exposure to heat and sparks.
These gloves feature a russet split cowhide gauntlet-style cuff and Kevlar thread construction, contributing to longevity in tach welding environments where frequent glove removal and re-entry occurs. The 4-inch cuff offers added protection at the wrist without overly restricting movement, making the glove suitable for steady, manual welding operations that require both protection and finger dexterity. The product is packaged in a dozen-per-pack configuration, with case quantities available to support shop, fabrication, and maintenance operations.
Users should consider the unlined interior when evaluating heat protection and grip feel, noting that dexterity is prioritized with minimal internal padding. This glove is appropriate for MIG and TIG welding engagements where a balance of dexterity and rugged exterior is desired, and it aligns with standard PPE expectations for leather welding hand protection. Packaging details indicate ready-to-stock quantities for larger facilities needing bulk purchases.
