The PIP 58-8030R ProCoat PVC Dipped Glove with Interlock Liner combines economical wet-grip performance with a protective, durable design suitable for demanding material handling. The glove’s PVC coating provides a reliable surface for wet environments, while the interlock jersey lining enhances dexterity and helps the exterior dry quickly and shed minimal lint. Its black color helps conceal soiling, which can be beneficial in dirty material handling tasks often encountered in mining, construction, refining, and petrochemical settings.
Constructed with a single-dip process and a straight cuff, this glove offers added forearm protection from liquid runoff while maintaining flexibility for extended wear. The ProCoat finish is designed to deliver an economical balance of grip and protection, with a semi-rough texture that supports improved wet grip and basic cut resistance. The glove is categorized as a supported construction, and its EN 388 ratings capture its performance across abrasion, cut, tear, and puncture tests, indicating a practical suitability for general purpose mechanical handling where these hazards are considerations.
Practical use considerations include choosing this glove for tasks involving oily materials or wet surfaces where dexterity and quick-drying properties are advantageous. The packaging indicates a dozen gloves per unit and six dozen per case, which can help with bulk purchasing planning. While the exact material composition beyond the PVC coating and interlock lining isn’t specified here, users should ensure compatibility with the work environment’s chemical exposure and the intended grip surface. The straight cuff and liquid-runoff protection are advantageous in splash-prone scenarios and continuous handling tasks, but individuals should assess fit and comfort for prolonged wear and verify sizing aligns with their hand measurements.
