The DeWalt DPG230 is a fingerless glove designed to deliver high dexterity for precision tasks while still offering durable hand protection. Built with a full synthetic palm overlay, this glove emphasizes tactile control and a secure grip, aided by a water- and oil-resistant palm surface that helps minimize slip in demanding conditions. The durable construction is reinforced with ToughThread double stitching, aimed at extending the glove’s lifespan in rugged use, and a double palm overlay that contributes to abrasion resistance where the hand commonly contacts surfaces.
A stretch nylon gusset provides added debris protection and flexibility, while the extended UlnaLock TPR wrist closure helps secure the glove for a snug fit during delicate, manual work. The terry cloth thumb is included for sweat absorption, improving comfort during longer wear. The fingerless design prioritizes fingertip agility, making tasks that require precise manipulation—such as wiring, small-fastener work, or component inspection—more efficient without sacrificing basic hand protection.
This model is packaged as a pair and is typically sold in standard PPE channels. It is appropriate for tasks that benefit from enhanced finger dexterity while still needing abrasion resistance and a dependable grip. When selecting sizing and compatibility, consider how the extended wrist closure and fingerless design may influence fit and tactile feel, especially for prolonged use on busy workdays. Maintenance guidance is not specified here, but the synthetic leather surface is commonly cleaned per manufacturer recommendations for synthetic gloves and machine washable in some DEWALT-branded variants.
