Cordova 8810 Driver, Pigskin, Economy, Grain

The Cordova 8810 Driver is a lightweight, economy-grade work glove designed for tasks that require dexterity and breathability. Crafted from grain pigskin, it leverages the natural characteristics of pigskin leather, including its larger pores which promote airflow and help the glove feel more comfortable in warmer conditions or high-activity environments. This unlined design prioritizes flexibility and tactile feedback, making it suitable for manual driving, light assembly, material handling, and other general-purpose tasks where glove bulk is a consideration. The keystone thumb construction and shirred elastic back enhance fit and range of motion, enabling steady control and reduced hand fatigue during repetitive movements. The simplicity of an unlined glove also means it dries and dries faster after incidental moisture exposure, which can be advantageous in damp work settings.

From a construction and material standpoint, the glove is built from leather identified as economy-grade grain pigskin, which indicates a mid-range thickness chosen for balance between cost, dexterity, and durability. The keystone thumb provides a natural hand contour that supports grip and control, while the shirred elastic back helps keep the glove securely seated without restricting movement. The packaging and sourcing details indicate a large-quantity option, with a case quantity of 10 dozen per case and a package size of a dozen, which can be relevant for procurement planning and stocking purposes. This product is compatible with standard PPE workflows for glove selection and can be paired with other Cordova Safety gloves as part of a broader protection program. Maintenance is straightforward: wipe clean or air dry as needed, and expect the leather to respond well to routine handling and moderate use without additional lining. If you require customization, note that Cordova offers custom print gloves, which can be relevant for brands or onsite programs seeking identification or branding opportunities.
