The Cordova 8650L Palm glove combines premium goatskin leather with a grain leather palm and a red canvas back to deliver tactile sensitivity and durable performance for a range of demanding tasks. Goatskin is chosen for its excellent abrasion resistance and softness due to high lanolin content, making these gloves comfortable to wear while still providing dependable protection for the hands. The grain leather on the palm enhances grip and wear resistance in high-use areas, while the Gunn cut pattern offers a common, versatile fit that promotes dexterity in a variety of work environments. A rubberized safety cuff adds wrist protection and helps seal out debris during use.
Construction details matter because they influence both comfort and longevity in real-world conditions. The premium-grade leather is selected from the side of the hide, which correlates with reduced movement and greater fiber density, contributing to durability in repetitive tasks. The combination of goatskin with a grain palm is well-suited to applications that require tactile feedback, such as precision handling, assembly, and general maintenance work where sensitivity is important alongside abrasion resistance.
These gloves are appropriate for a wide range of industry work, including cold or wet weather tasks, masonry, metal fabrication, plumbing/HVAC, and material handling, among others. They are typically supplied in cases sized for industrial distribution, with a standard package of one dozen gloves per unit and a case quantity of six dozen, making them convenient for warehouse stocking and bulk orders. The gloves are compatible with environments where grip and finger dexterity are essential, and the reinforced cuff provides additional wrist protection during repetitive or strenuous activities.
