Cordova 8239 Driver, Cowhide, Split/Grain

The Cordova 8239 Driver is a durable leather work glove designed for versatile handling tasks across industrial, agricultural, and maintenance environments. It features a grain palm and grain-wrapped forefinger on a brown split cowhide back, combining dexterity with abrasion resistance. The glove is unlined and offers a shirred elastic back for a secure yet flexible fit, and it employs a wing thumb configuration, which supports open-handed work such as pushing, pulling, and lifting. The seam construction is arranged to minimize wear when the palm is opened, helping extend the glove’s life in demanding repetitive-use scenarios.

Constructed from leather with a wing thumb, this driver-style glove emphasizes durability and control in tasks requiring grip and hand protection without bulk. The design is well-suited for industries ranging from general maintenance and manufacturing to masonry, material handling, and welding/foundry contexts, where dexterity and resistance to abrasion are important. The glove is compatible with handling tools, equipment, and materials commonly encountered in warehousing, metal fabrication, and construction settings, offering reliable performance in daily use.

Packaging and options indicate a practical procurement approach: the product is available with a case quantity of 10 dozen per case and per-dozen packaging. Additional features include the potential for custom print options, which may be relevant for team branding or department-level identification. When selecting sizing, consider the split-cowhide back and unlined interior, which influence fit and breathability during extended wear. As with any leather driver, proper sizing and inspection for wear will help maintain protective performance over time.
