Cordova 7600 Welder, Cowhide, Economy, Split, Shoulder, Lined

The Cordova 7600 Welder is an economy-grade cowhide leather glove designed for welding tasks where basic hand protection and dexterity are prioritized. Crafted from economy split-shoulder cowhide, these gloves balance durability and cost, making them a practical choice for repetitive handwork in workshops or light fabrication settings. The full sock lining and fully welted seams contribute to a secure, durable construction, helping to resist wear along the seams and extend service life in everyday welding duties. A wings-thumb design supports open-handed work, improving grip and control when handling components or guiding welding consumables.

The gloves feature a gray color and a two-piece back, which can aid in fit and flexibility while maintaining a traditional glove silhouette. The design aligns with work environments where affordable, functional PPE is sufficient for protection against common welding hazards such as heat exposure, minor abrasion, and handling hot or sharp objects as a secondary layer of defense. The Cordova product line differentiates leather grades by the area of the hide used, and the 7600’s economy split-shoulder leather is selected from middle-to-lower hide sections, emphasizing value over premium hide characteristics. The package size is listed as a dozen per pair, with a case quantity of six dozen per case, which informs stocking and reordering processes for procurement.

These gloves are appropriate for general welding tasks that do not demand high-grade leather or advanced insulating features. They pair well with standard PPE ensembles and can be used in maintenance, light fabrication, and routine shop duties where protective hand coverage is needed without specialized certifications. Always pair with other appropriate PPE and follow job-specific safety guidelines to ensure the best protection for your workflow.
