The Liberty Safety 4987 Frogrip Yellow Ata/Lycra String Knit Gloves are a versatile option for hands-on tasks in automotive, glass operations, and metal fabrication environments. Designed for dexterity and light protection, these gloves feature a 13 gauge yellow ATA/Lycra knit shell that provides stretch and a snug fit to help with control during detailed work. The elastic knit wrist helps keep debris out and secures the glove during repetitive motions.
The Frogrip styling emphasizes grip and tactile feedback, which can be beneficial when handling small parts, tools, or workpieces where precision matters. The glove’s knit construction supports comfortable wear over extended periods, while the lack of touchscreen capability indicates it is best suited for manual tasks that do not require device interaction. This model is packaged in dozens per case, aligning with small-to-medium shop and job-site stocking needs.
When selecting this glove, consider the nature of your task and the level of cut resistance you require. The 13-gauge ATA/Lycra knit offers flexibility and a light-to-medium level of cut protection appropriate for certain fabrication and assembly tasks, but users should review internal cut level requirements (ANSI A4) against specific job hazards. The elastic cuff provides a secure fit and straightforward donning and doffing, making these gloves suitable for intermittent use or as a secondary layer under heavier protection where appropriate.
