The Cardinal Safety C-102Y Cardinal Duo Safety Utility Knife is a compact, disposable utility knife designed for controlled cutting tasks in facility maintenance. Its recessed blade helps reduce the risk of cut injuries and minimizes the chance of damaging goods during box opening, film removal, tape cutting, and similar applications. The tool is slim and lightweight, making it easy to carry or attach to a lanyard or keyring for quick access in busy work environments where swift, everyday cutting is required.
Constructed with a plastic handle and a carbon steel blade, the Cardinal Duo emphasizes safety and reliability in a small footprint. The knife is designed for one-handed use, with a focus on thumb-friendly grip and straightforward operation. Its disposable nature supports hygiene and tool management in settings that require frequent turnover of cutting instruments while keeping downtime minimal. The knife is primarily configured for utility cutting tasks and is offered in a distinct yellow color for high visibility in cluttered work areas.
Typical use cases include opening cartons, trimming packaging film, cutting tape, and other everyday maintenance tasks where a safe, simplified cutting solution is advantageous. The device features a single blade and a recessed blade design to help prevent accidental cuts or blade contact with surfaces. The package is presented as a case-ready option for facilities that require bulk provisioning, with a case quantity noted as 1000 units and individual unit packaging.
