The CGW 60201 is a 3 x 19 row carbon steel wire brush designed for heavy-duty cleaning and surface preparation tasks in facility maintenance. Its tool design focuses on delivering effective material removal while preserving workpiece integrity in typical industrial settings. The brush consists of a dense, multi-row wire arrangement intended to strike a balance between aggressive brushing action and controllable chatter, suitable for deburring, edge cleanup, and rust or scale removal on metal surfaces.
Key construction details include kiln-dried hardwood handles chosen for tuft retention, aiming to minimize tuft loss during use and extend the brush’s usable life. The wire is a staple-set carbon steel, selected for consistent performance and rigidity, which helps maintain bristle alignment under repeated use. This combination of handle and wire construction supports reliable operation in handheld brushing applications where secure grip and durable bristles are important for productivity.
This product is packaged as individual units with 12 brushes per box, aligning with common maintenance stocking needs for facility teams and service technicians. It is compatible with standard manual brushing workflows on metal components, fixtures, and roughened surfaces where a robust, mid-density brush can deliver effective material removal without excessive aggression. When selecting for a given task, consider the workpiece material, required surface finish, and the need to replace brushes due to tuft wear or breakage over time.
