CGW 39412 is a 4-1/2 inch diameter, 5/8-11 threaded arbor Type 27 flap disc designed for general surface finishing on ferrous and nonferrous metals, as well as certain plastics and wood. Its 40-grit Aluminum Oxide abrasive grain, bonded to a durable polyester backing, provides material removal with a balance of aggression and control suitable for contouring and blending on flat and contoured surfaces. The Type 27 configuration is optimized for angled contact, helping to reach into depressions and curved profiles while maintaining a relatively aggressive cut.
