Safehouse Signs VT-204 Caution Do Not Operate Tag is a compact, high-visibility safety tag designed to communicate a prohibition for equipment or processes in both indoor and outdoor settings. Sized at 6x3 inches, this tag employs black and yellow coloring to attract attention and convey caution in potentially hazardous situations. The tag is intended for use where quick visual cues are essential to prevent operation activities that could pose risk to personnel or equipment.
Constructed from heavy-duty 15 mil rigid vinyl, the VT-204 tag resists moisture, chemicals, weather, and tearing—making it suitable for environments with exposure to the elements or routine industrial cleaners. Each pack includes 25 tags that arrive pre-drilled with 25-inch holes and nylon ties, facilitating straightforward mounting on machinery, control panels, or switchgear. This packaging arrangement supports bulk compliance labeling and consistent installation across multiple points of use.
The tag is categorized as an accident prevention tag and is appropriate for facilities that require a durable, clearly legible reminder to avoid operating a piece of equipment. Practitioners should ensure proper placement on assets where operating restrictions are critical and verify that the installation hardware (nylon ties) fits the mounting location. While the product data specifies a 25-pack with pre-drilled holes, users should confirm that the tag’s size and mounting method align with their asset’s fastener compatibility and environmental conditions.
