The Safehouse Signs VT-108-2 Danger Do Not Operate Tags are a rigid vinyl warning tag designed for temporary prohibition notices in industrial settings. Each tag is constructed from heavy-duty 15 mil rigid vinyl and is suitable for indoor and outdoor use, with resistance to moisture, chemicals, and tearing. The tags are sized at 6 x 3 inches and are supplied in packs of 25 with pre-drilled holes, facilitating quick attachment using the included 25-inch nylon ties. This combination supports durable, visible communication of danger or restricted operation in equipment or processes where a shutdown or lockout is required.
Documented construction details show a rigid vinyl construction that provides dimensional stability and resistance to environmental conditions typical of maintenance and facility operations. The VT-108-2 designation helps differentiate the exact tag design from other warnings within the Safehouse Signs line, aiding in organizing and enforcing standardized safety communications across sites. The back side of the tag is labeled Danger Do Not Operate, reinforcing the message for personnel who may encounter equipment or processes that must remain inactive until proper authorization is obtained.
Practical considerations include using the pre-drilled holes and nylon ties for reliable mounting on equipment, valves, or control panels. The tag’s 6x3 inch footprint supports legibility at a distance appropriate for a busy shop floor or plant environment. Because packaging includes 25 tags per pack, it supports recurring deployment as part of ongoing safety program updates or repeated shutdown tasks, helping ensure consistent visibility and messaging across multiple assets.
