Safehouse Signs LT-121-1 Danger Out Of Service Tags are durable, laminated tag cards designed for active work sites to mark equipment or areas as out of service. Each tag is sized 6x3 inches and features a back-side design for additional visibility, making it suitable for quick status communication in busy facilities. The tag material is a laminated tag board, which combines a sturdy substrate with a protective laminate to resist moisture, chemicals, weather, and tearing. This construction supports reliable legibility in a variety of environments, both indoors and outdoors.
The tags are manufactured with a heavy-duty 10 mil tag board and a 20 mil seamless plastic laminate, providing a robust barrier against exposure to dampness and contaminants that can degrade markings over time. The finished product includes a 5-inch grommet, enabling straightforward attachment to equipment, valves, panels, or lanyards. Packaged in sets of 10, these tags are convenient for inventorying multiple out-of-service items across a facility, maintenance shed, or job site. The laminated design helps maintain clear, legible warnings even when exposed to routine weather, splashes, or routine handling.
Practical use involves clearly labeling out-of-service equipment or areas to prevent unauthorized operation and to assist with maintenance workflows. Because these tags are designed for both indoor and outdoor use, they can be deployed in a variety of settings where visibility and durability of warning notices are needed. When ordering, note the pack quantity and the included grommet to ensure compatibility with your mounting options and to support efficient stock replenishment.
