The National Marker Company WFK04 36" x 24" Textured Walk-On First Aid Floor Marking Kit is a large, vinyl decal designed to designate and keep important first aid and safety equipment areas clearly defined on the floor. The kit combines multiple peel-and-stick configurations on a single sheet, offering flexibility to create distinctive walk-on or boundary markings that help direct foot traffic and maintain clear access to critical safety assets. The textured over-laminate option provides a slip-resistant surface, which can be important in busy facility zones where floor markings are subject to pedestrian traffic and occasional spills.
Key construction and features include a vinyl construction with pre-cut border elements and a 12" x 12" diamond floor sign, which support clean, quick installation and predictable alignment. The kit supports custom messaging, enabling facilities to tailor the markings to specific locations or vocabulary while maintaining a standardized visual language across the site. The product is designed for extended use, with an advertised lifespan exceeding 12 months under typical indoor conditions, contributing to reduced reapplication needs in controlled environments.
Typical use cases involve marking the areas in front of doors, near fire extinguishers, electrical panels, and emergency showers or eyewash stations to ensure these vital locations remain unobstructed. Practically, the kit’s large 36" x 24" footprint provides a bold, highly visible cue that can be implemented in a variety of floor configurations. When planning installation, verify that the application surface is clean and dry and consider whether a textured over-laminate or smooth finish best suits foot traffic and maintenance routines. The kit is packaged as an individual unit, with the combined configurations included on one sheet for efficient deployment and customization.
