The Savety Yellow RGR-36 is a low-profile rack guard designed to shield the end of storage racks from impact while occupying minimal floor space. This 36-inch-wide protection piece bolts to the floor, aligning with the base of the rack to help prevent damage and the associated repair costs that can occur from pallet or equipment contact. The unit stands just 5 inches tall, enabling it to fit in confined aisles and maintain visibility for operators.
Constructed from steel and finished in powder-coated safety yellow, the RGR-36 features Schedule 40 4.5-inch outside diameter pipe with welded end caps as part of its structural assembly. The standard length is offered in 36, 42, or 48 inches to accommodate different rack footprints, while installation can be enhanced with 5/8-inch by 4 3/4-inch wedge anchors upon request for solid floor anchoring. These details matter because the guard’s stability and mounting method influence how effectively it deflects impacts and stays in place during frequent forklift or pallet jack activity.
This rack guard is suited for facility maintenance environments where rack end damage is a concern. It is packaged as an individual unit and is intended to be installed at floor level to protect the rack end without protruding excessively into the aisle. When selecting a size, consider your rack end dimensions and aisle clearance; if floor anchoring is required for additional security, the optional wedge anchors can be specified.
